India Play Football has set 5 December 2026 as the Season 1 kickoff, with the 11-week competition planned through 14 February 2027. The venue will be confirmed separately through official IPF channels.
Season 1 is the current flagship competition within the wider India Play Football platform. It is designed for players aged 18–21 and will bring together approximately 200 selected players across 10 IPF teams.
A complete competitive season
The planned 11-week competition comprises a 45-match single round-robin league, two semifinals and one final: 48 matches in total. Every league team is scheduled to play nine matches before the leading four progress to the knockout stage.

There is no application fee. The first application window is scheduled to close at 11:59 PM IST on 11 October 2026. Applying does not guarantee assessment, selection, verification or a team place.
